Emily in Paris: Camille vs. Emily Fashion Face-Off (Spoiler Alert!)

Lately, I'm sure you've all heard the words "Emily" and "Paris" at least once, everywhere you go.

Netflix's original series "Emily in Paris" has garnered attention as the second "Sex and the City," and I believe it's not just hot, but extremely hot.

Because I've been hearing about it so much lately, I started watching it out of curiosity, wondering what kind of amazing drama it was, and I actually finished the series in one day, haha.

Not only the story, but with international travel restricted worldwide due to COVID-19, the European aesthetic and visual beauty that evoke a trip to Paris made the 300 minutes fly by.

However, the undisputed star of the show is the "fashion" of the main characters.

Emily, who showcased outfits that were unbelievable each time,

and those around her, such as Camille, Mindy, and Sylvie,

their attire is arguably the most interesting and visually pleasing aspect of the work.

As you watched the drama,

whose fashion style was your absolute favorite?

Emily, and Camille, who was her first "nice" French person she met in Paris.

Did you notice that in the delicate tension surrounding Emily and Camille's friendship, and Gabriel, their fashion was "poles apart"?

In their meeting, where Camille said she had something to say and Emily was a bit tense, Emily wore a deep sky blue turtleneck with a brown jacket that seemed to have a spoonful of orange in it, showcasing a complementary color contrast.

During the weekend visit to Camille's hometown of Champagne,

From a Vivienne Westwood red tartan jacket to a white ruffle blouse, straight-fit jeans, and even Christian Louboutin pumps!

A moment when Emily, the talented marketer's ingenious idea, shone brightly on Rue de l'Abreuvoir in Montmartre.

Emily wore purple boots,

while Camille wore monotone Western boots.

From a distance, Camille's clothes would seem somewhat understated next to Emily's colorful attire.

I've compared and analyzed the fashion of Emily and Camille in the drama! They are both lovely characters with such different charms, aren't they?

 

From the color of their outfits to the patterns and fit, I was able to discern their preferences down to the smallest details.

 

Their Parisian life, where not even an inch ahead can be seen!
