When I first saw the raw stone, an image of an oval seed came to mind. The process of choosing a raw stone and making a ring, in the sense of planting your own seed, led to the design named "Seedling." The best color for Seedling seems to be colors that allow you to clearly see the inside of the raw stone! In particular, "green rutilated quartz" with green raw stones is the most beloved, giving you the feeling of being in a forest.

▪️ Designer’s comment

Baby's Breath means "mist flower" :) Since Baby's Breath has many buds, I named it "more baby's breath ring," thinking that you could create a one-of-a-kind ring by making flowers in your own style. It is said that one ring contains nine raw stones.

Jaime's designer recommends styling tips for choosing colors that suit you!

① Choose one of your favorite raw stones.

② Combine it with raw stones of a similar tone.

③ This is perfect for creating a sense of unity and imbuing meaning.

④ By repeating the above method of combining 3 or 4 types of raw stones 2 or 3 times, you can create your own unique best ring.

Jaime: Hello :) I'm Jaime, and I make handmade jewelry in Yeonnam-dong.

Editor: Where do you mainly draw inspiration from when creating your products?

Jaime: I'm interested in raw stones and colored cubic zirconia, so when I see clear white quartz, jellyfish come to mind, and I design from there. Or when small, disordered hairs look like mushrooms, I combine them with cubic zirconia. I like to express various things intuitively.

Editor: I saw the expression "elegant cuteness" on Instagram.

Jaime: I used to work at a betrothal shop, and I felt that rings were only worn for weddings. But with a slight change, like adding disordered hairs, they can be expressed cutely. So, I used this phrase as a motif because elegant designs can be made cute.

Editor: What is your favorite combination?

Jaime: I think the mini mushroom ring looks most beautiful when combined with two or three colors. This is my favorite combination.

Editor: From Mullae-dong to Yeonnam-dong, I imagine you've experienced many things while running the brand.

Jaime: It was about three years ago, I started in a small workshop in Mullae-dong. I didn't have much money then, so I started in the cheapest, simplest place. At the time, I worked weekdays and only did my craft on weekends and holidays. I had a strong desire to get better, so I gritted my teeth and endured. Of course, not everything went 100% smoothly, but I felt that if I didn't work hard here, my chances would be zero. I'm truly grateful to everyone who loved Jaime. They sent me a lot of encouraging messages. The "mini mushroom ring" was born from that. It was a moment when I realized that while running a brand, you need your own beliefs, but you also need to accept other people's opinions to some extent.

Editor: Was there anything you kept in mind during difficult times?

Jaime: It might sound a bit cheesy. It's embarrassing, but I used to think, "Lose little when you lose, gain a lot when you win." I didn't really understand it myself, but it seems to be a common phrase in card games. In the early days of the brand, when results weren't coming in, it was quite tough. When things weren't going well, I thought, "It's okay to lose because I've only invested a little." I started to feel like I could gradually show the successful parts, and that's how I managed to get out of being swayed by every little thing.

Editor: Is there anyone you particularly remember?

Jaime: There's a customer who is a photographer. When she was doing a personal photo shoot, she asked if she could include a ring in the photos, so I gave her one. After that, she mentioned a photoshoot, and I told her it would be perfect to update it on Amonz's detail page, so we ended up doing a shoot next week. She's the customer I'm most grateful for and remember.

Jaime: I consider myself "Amonz's daughter." The staff at Amonz truly love jewelry. They understand the desire for a small, handmade company to become a successful brand, and for me, it's a very grateful platform.

Jaime: These days, there's a lot of shopping information, right? I want people who want to create their own unique style based on a lot of information and their own ideas to wear Jaime. I think they can express their individuality to the fullest without losing their trendiness.
